Welcome to the Neighborhood Watch section of the Magnolia Acres Community Association website. Our Neighborhood Watch program is a collective effort to enhance the safety and security of our community. By working together and staying vigilant, we can create an environment where everyone feels safe and protected.
The primary objective of the Community Watch program is to prevent and deter crime within our community. Through the eyes and ears of our residents, we aim to identify and address any suspicious activities, thereby maintaining a secure and peaceful living environment for all. By staying informed and proactive, we can significantly contribute to the overall well-being of our neighborhood.
To help you with this, we’ve prepared a simple guide on how to report suspicious activity:
Email Report: You can email any concerns or happenings related to the security of our community to our dedicated Neighborhood Watch email address: rgarcia@cmpd.org
Our Freedom Officers are here to listen and respond to your emails.
Officer R. Garcia
If you come across any activity that seems out of the ordinary or raises concerns about the safety of our community, we encourage you to report it promptly. Your watchful eyes play a crucial role in preventing potential issues.
In case you witness or become aware of criminal activity, it’s important to take appropriate actions. Here’s a general guideline on how to proceed:
You can file some reports online through the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s online reporting platform. This page lets you submit a police report now and print a copy of the report for free. Please turn off your pop-up blocking software before you file a report. Filing a false police report is a crime. If you believe there is an imminent threat to safety or you witness a crime in progress, dial 911 immediately. Your safety and the safety of others are of the utmost importance.

An emergency is any serious medical problem (chest pain, seizure, bleeding), any type of fire (business, car, building), any life-threatening situation (fights, person with weapons, etc.) or to report crimes in progress.
We encourage every resident of Magnolia Acres actively participate in our Community Watch program. If you see something that doesn’t seem right, don’t hesitate to say something. Your contributions can make a significant impact in maintaining the security and well-being of our community.
Remember, by working together, we can foster a safe and harmonious neighborhood for all to enjoy. Thank you for your dedication to the safety of Magnolia Acres Community.
Stay watchful, stay safe.
